An outstanding self-drive/self-guided trip to Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. Lots of endemics, lots of tropical species, lots of Nearctic migrants, a spectacular bat cave and some fabulous Mayan ruins. Bird highlights included Ocellated Turkey, Rose-throated Tanager, Cozumel Emerald, Cozumel Vireo, Yucatan Jay, Yucatan Wren, Yucatan Woodpecker, Black Catbird, Yellow-throated, Kentucky, Hooded and many more North American warblers, and more toucans, motmots, parrots and so on than you could shake a stick at. A brilliant trip!
